Alanna is a registered Occupational Therapist with over 18 years experience working in world renowned hospitals, cancer centres and rehabilitation facilities. She specializes in working with adults recovering from concussion, brain injury or those presenting with a new diagnosis of ADHD. She is proficient in navigating return to work, long and short term disability, workplace accommodations, human rights legislation and the Employer’s Duty to Accommodate. Stephanie (she/her) is a registered Occupational Therapist who loves nature-based play! She holds a background in Kinesiology from Queen’s University and completed her Master’s of Occupational Therapy at the University of Ottawa. Stephanie has experience providing client-centred, and collaborative care to a wide range of children, including those with autism, ADHD, PDA, Down Syndrome, and learning disabilities.

She is passionate about reducing barriers to play and takes a neuroaffirming, family-centred approach to help every child participate in activities that are meaningful to them. Stephanie supports children with emotional regulation, executive functioning, self-care, and both fine and gross motor challenges by building on their strengths and weaving their interests into creative, playful activities that help kiddos reach their goals. Stephanie can also provide services in English/French/Mandarin.

In her free time, you can find Stephanie biking, rock climbing or doing yoga!

Kristina is a registered Occupational Therapist who is passionate about mixing her love for being creative, being in nature, and helping her clients reach their goals! Outside of her role in the Nature OT in the City Group program, Kristina works as an Occupational therapist at Nova’s Ark Charity, where she gets to mix the therapeutic benefits of play, the outdoors and animals in her work with kids, teens and adults!

In the past few years of practice, Kristina has had the opportunity to expand on her nature therapy knowledge in attending the Grounded to Grow Nature Retreat in Chicago, learning from other nature based OTs. She has been part of research around mental health within Occupational Therapy and believes strongly in addressing mental health with clients of all ages AND their families. She has explored a variety of different courses regarding autism, anxiety, emotional regulation, motivational interviewing, and much more, and is always learning! Kristina has also started our parent “Campfire chats”, which allow the parents of Larchwood to connect with each other and work through challenges together facilitated by an OT. Kristina is so excited to connect with all the old and new families of Larchwood in the upcoming session!

Bianca is an OTA, communications professional, and aspiring Occupational Therapist. Graduating from Carleton University with a Bachelors of Communications and Media Studies with a double minor in Sociology and Women and Gender Studies, she entered the non-profit sector with a passion for helping others.

Bianca has experience supporting individuals across a range of abilities, with a particular focus on neurodivergent children and youth. Her background includes working as both a gymnastics coach and physical therapy assistant for children with disabilities and as a personal support worker helping with activities of daily living. As someone who is neurodivergent herself, Bianca brings lived experience to her work and strives to create safe, affirming, and empowering spaces that foster growth. She believes that nature is a great therapeutic environment where anyone can safely face unexpected challenges with trusted support. Now, she is working on her application for a Masters of Occupational Therapy as she gains experience here at Davis OT.

Outside of Davis you can usually find her doing something active (anything from weightlifting to a zumba class!) or working on another passion, creating custom press-on nails.
